A cross-disciplinary team of professionals is behind the development of the Relaxbirth product and service concept. The Relaxbirth team is united in a desire to improve the experience of childbirth – one of the greatest and most far-reaching events in a human being’s life.

The development of Relaxbirth is focused on the users. It is designed to benefit women in labour, midwives, obstetricians and other medical professionals. The Relaxbirth System incorporates the Birthing Support, including accessories and equipment, together with training services related to the use of the Relaxbirth method.

Relaxbirth has received both Finnish and international awards, such as the European Union Women Inventors and Innovators Network (EUWIIN) first prize presented to innovator Eija Pessinen in 2009.
